Published Fees
30% flat. Only if you get paid.
Most firms in this industry won’t publish their fee until you’re emotionally committed. We publish ours before you ever talk to us: 30% of the funds actually recovered, and nothing otherwise. Every dollar figure on this page is real math.
The complete fee schedule
This is the entire price list. If a charge is not on this page, you will never see it on an invoice.

Illustrative. Attorney fees, when required, are quoted separately in writing before any engagement and are not part of our 30%. You will never pay attorney fees you did not approve in advance.

Why 30%?
What our fee actually pays for
Surplus recovery is unglamorous, deadline-driven work: court filings, service of process, proof packages, fighting padded competitor claims, and waiting — sometimes months — for a judge’s signature. Our 30% covers all of it.
Many firms charge 33–50% and publish none of it. We chose a single, published, flat rate because you just lost one home — you shouldn’t have to decode a fee schedule to recover what’s left of it.
The “file it yourself” option — honestly
In most states you can claim surplus funds yourself, for the cost of filing (often under $200). That is the cheapest option, full stop.
We make sense when: multiple heirs are involved, a buyer or HOA claims the money, the deadline is close, the documents are messy, or you simply cannot face another court proceeding alone right now. If none of those apply to you, we will tell you plainly: “You can do this yourself for free.” That honesty is why our fee stays at 30%.
No money, no fee. That’s the deal.
